Directions to Biopta
From the North, South and East
- M8 travelling west- direction Glasgow/ Greenock
- Follow signs for Glasgow Airport
- Leave M8 at Exit 17 for the A82 (Dumbarton) to Great Western Road
- Follow road for approx 2 miles then take right-hand lane towards the North / Aberfoyle A739
- Pass Morrisons supermarket store on the right, then go under the railway bridge on Switchback Road (Bearsden Road)
- Entrance to the Garscube Estate is on the right-hand side of the road at a set of traffic lights / brow of a hill and is signposted
- (You have gone too far if you reach Canniesburn Toll roundabout – if so simply about turn at the roundabout and enter Garscube Estate on your left)
After entering the estate follow signs for the Weipers Centre or ask for directions to Biopta at the Weipers Centre at the security gatehouse

From the West
- M8 travelling east- direction Glasgow
- Leave M8 at Exit 25 for the Clyde Tunnel
- Follow road through tunnel for the North / Aberfoyle A739
- Straight over major junction at Anniesland cross -Again direction is Aberfoyle A739
- Pass Morrisons on the right and go under the railway bridge
- Entrance to the Garscube Estate is on the right-hand side of the road at a set of traffic lights / brow of a hill and is signposted
- (You have gone too far if you reach Canniesburn Toll roundabout – if so simply about turn at the roundabout and enter Garscube Estate on your left)
After entering the estate follow signs for the Weipers Centre or ask for directions to Biopta at the Weipers Centre at the security gatehouse
