Tissue Connections - Human Tissue Bank
At Biopta we understand that, from time to time, our partners and collaborators require to perform certain human tissue studies in-house to complement work undertaken by Biopta and it is with this in mind that we are pleased to offer TissueConnections™ to clients of our laboratory services.
Biopta has unique experience in the management of human tissues for research purposes and holds Research Tissue Bank status. Biopta's human tissue banking status means that it is able to share access to tissues with clients if the research cannot be undertaken at Biopta. This maximises the use of the tissues and allows Biopta and its clients across the globe to undertake collaborative research projects that encompass a wide variety of techniques including biochemistry, molecular biology, histopathology and biomarker studies.
All human tissues provided by Biopta come fully consented with clinical information and comprehensive ethics approval, allowing studies to be undertaken rapidly.
